February, the time of year when Blue and Gold banquets occur. Let’s remember our littlest Scouts and make sure they have a role to play in the ceremonies.
Recognition and fun are important parts of the Cub Scouting program. Parents seeing the look on the faces of their children as the beam with pride after a public recognition is a memory maker. This memory maker keeps parents, and their children, coming back to Scouting.
Take a minute if you can, and make recognition of your new Bobcats an important piece of your Blue and Gold. The Cub Master giving a hearty hand shake to each one of them and a kind word about next year can make all the difference in retaining and promoting these young Scouts. The time you take to do so is important and valuable and your program will be stronger for it.
